I'm in my first year of a nursing degree, how and why my mind decided NOW was a good idea to tell me I'd really rather be a doctor I don't know. By the time I graduate from a Graduate entry degree I'll be 28 and it feels too old to start life esp in over £50000 of debt. I'm not even sure whether you still have access to these comments/keep track but if you do I'd love to hear how things are going. Do you ever regret the time/money/stress you spent on the med degree?enniehttp://anygirlinbritain.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28722456.post-14480517227010198822012-04-12T23:55:11.541+00:002012-04-12T23:55:11.541+00:00I came across your blog a few months ago now and h...I came across your blog a few months ago now and have found myself pleasantly surprised by how many nurses there are out there hoping to become doctors in the future.

I am about to start my Adult Nursing degree in September and wish to do the GEP in Medicine once I finish. I enrolled to do to the Access to Nursing in 2011 after a life changing moment that I experienced with my grandfather.

Reading your blog has been an inspiration to me, as I felt somewhat alone in the idea that I could become a doctor myself. I did pretty well in school but flopped my A-levels (probably due to those raging hormonal changes in the teen years) however the Access course has shown me how far I can push myself to be the best. Every time I feel that I cannot do something I am reminded by your blog and your achievements. Thank you so much for posting your experiences through med school. I doubt you check this blog anymore ( busy doc n'all that) but if you ever have the time to e-mail me I would love to ask you a few questions.
